Delta Diagnostics is seeking a motivated Micro-Fluidics Engineer to join our team. As a Micro-Fluidics Engineer, you will play a vital role in our projects by contributing to the design and development of challenging microfluidic systems and components for label-free biosensing instruments. This position is ideal for an experienced Micro-Fluidics Engineer looking to contribute to cutting-edge technical projects in a highly multidisciplinary environment.
· Microfluidic System Design: Design and development of microfluidic systems, components, and structures for label-free biosensing instruments.
· Testing and Optimization: Conduct and coordinate testing, analysis, and optimization of microfluidic systems to ensure optimal performance and reliability.
· Collaboration: Work collaboratively with cross-functional, multidisciplinary, and often international teams, including engineers, scientists, and project managers, to achieve project objectives.
· Documentation: Maintain accurate documentation of microfluidic designs, specifications, and testing procedures.
· Quality Assurance: Participate in quality control processes to ensure the delivery of high-quality microfluidic components and instruments.
· Adherence to Standards: Ensure that all microfluidic designs adhere to relevant industry standards and regulations.
· Education: Masters degree in Micro-Fluidics Engineering, Mechanical Engineering with a focus on microfluidics, or a related field. Advanced degrees are a plus.
· Experience: 3-15 years of experience in microfluidics engineering.
· Design and Simulation Software: Proficiency with design and simulation software tools (e.g., COMSOL, ANSYS) is required.
· Communication: Strong written and verbal communication skills.
· Problem Solving: Analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to adapt to changing project requirements.
· Team Player: Ability to work effectively in cross-functional teams.
· Coaching: Willingness to coach and develop junior colleagues.
